My name is Christopher Emmick and I work for the University of Kentucky's Center of Drug and Alcohol Research. Some of you may recognize my former coworker Tom Jackson, who initially set up our LimeSurvey instance and has supported this project through donations and template design consulting work. Tom retired about 1 œ years ago and I've taken over administration of our LimeSurvey instance.
At my office we use LimeSurvey to do intake surveys for citizens who are getting drug and alcohol treatment through state-funded facilities. When someone enters treatment, they take one of our surveys and choose to consent in a follow-up survey some 6 or 12 months after they leave treatment. We collect the data from the intake and follow-up surveys and generate reports for the state of Kentucky to analyze treatment results.
I've been programming in AMP (Apache/PHP/MySQL) for 7 years of my 11 years at UK. During this time I've designed, developed and supported PHP-based content management systems for web publishing and client data management. Over the past 3 years I've been the sole developer for a custom-built client information system that uses LimeSurvey for data collection and streamlines multi-survey logic for survey participants. My current system is built on Yii 1.1.15 in order to maximize tighter integration with LimeSurvey 2. Right now I'm transitioning a new version of my client information system into production, which exclusively uses LimeSurvey 2.
It seems like you guys could use another set of hands to help squash LS2 bugs. I can offer at least 2 hours a week towards those efforts, if you'll have me.
