Hello devs,

My name is Madhura and I am creating a research questionnaire for an
orthopedic clinic using LimeSurvey. We have one particular type of question
where the surgeon would indicate the location of a fracture by drawing on a
diagram of the knee. I am trying to implement this particular type of
question using question plugins. I came across the [1], the documentation
page which describes the same.
It would be great if you could point me to an example implementation of a
question plugin.

Hi Madhura,

that pages is only a draft of how question plugins at the upcoming
Limesurvey 3 version may be structured, it does not refer to the current
Limesurvey version.

You may want to search the Limesurvey forums for workarounds to draw
details at a customized Limesurvey question. I think I once saw
something which like that which was implemented using JavaScript.

The docs you linked were part of a spec that was never fully implemented.
If you want I can give you some pointers as to how to best implement this
question for your use case.
